I was fortunate enough to take a trip to London this winter. I visited Liberty of London and spent about 3 hours picking out fabrics to take home with me. I absolutely fell in love with that store!

I made a phone case when I got home to remember my amazing trip

I used two of the fabrics and separated them with two ribbons that I thought brought out the colors in both. I added the broach for a vintage flare and a little bit of sparkle. 

Because of my obsession I could not be more happy to see J-crew carrying Liberty of London blouses and swim suits. I must be a trend setter!

7 Things I'm Loving Right Now

I greatly apologize for the lack of posts over the past 2 weeks. I hate to disappoint my 0 followers, but bloggers need vacations too. 

It's time for 7 things I love again!

I visited my local bookstore and fell in love with John Robshaw's book on Indian textiles and prints. 

These prints are drop-dead gorgeous and his book explores the tremendous talent and precision that goes into making them. 

All of these wood blocks are meticulously hand carved and stamped onto long white sheets of fabric.

The Official GFA Survival Kit

For Christmas this year I sewed these adorable GFA survival kits for all of my friends at school. I made a zipper pouch with a custom logo that I printed out of fabric paper. I used a preppy color palet of pink and navy. Insisde, I put everything you might need for your locker at school, such as lip gloss, nail polish, hair clips, mascara etc. 

They are truly the perfect gift for any girl because they are cute and super useful!

Homemade Christmas Card Designs

It's that time of the year again, it's Christmas card season. So, instead of stressing over taking that perfect family photo, I design my own card using photoshop. The first step is to draw a sketch of basically anything you want, last year I did poinsettias and this year I'm doing birch trees.  Don't worry it does not need to be perfect. 

Put a white piece of paper over this one and tace the main lines. It should look something like this...

Simply scan the image and upload it on the Photoshop. 

Play around with different colors, textures and lines until you get a picture you love!

Love Bird Laptop Case

I made this laptop case before the school year to protect my favorite study tool (not to mention look adorable <3) I decided to be daring and try my first round zipper, though it did take a lot of seam ripping. One of my closest friends Tessa designed an adorable logo for me to iron on. I love this color combination from the blues and pinks on the outside, to the bright lining.

7 Things I'm Loving Right Now

Love love love Chevron! this great geometric print that is awesome, whether in interior design, accessories or clothing. Judging by the amount of it on Pinterest, people are obsessed with this trend as much as I am!
